This year we are including 2 special musical numbers for the youth to participate in.  Our desire is for the youth to feel the love of the Lord and the spirit to be set for the Testimony meeting where they will perform.  They will need to practice the songs prior to coming to YC. 

 

We desire a separate musical number to be performed by the YW and another performed by the YM.  We will make the music available to you so that you can practice in your stakes prior to Youth Conference.  At YC, we will provide time for the groups to practice prior to performing.  We would like all youth interested to perform (this is not mandatory, but by volunteer only.)  We encourage you to be excited about this opportunity for your youth, as they see your enthusiasm, they will in turn be excited as well.  Much research, time and prayer has gone into the selection of the music.  We have been sensitive to choosing music that would be simple to learn but would convey the spirit of the theme of Youth Conference  (Armed with Virtue)  Please feel free to contact me (Chairman over Spiritual Workshops Committee) personally with questions or concerns.  Connie Swanger 850-651-2440 wc_makehigh_mrks@cox.net

This music includes a solo part and a chorus for the choir.  We will highlight the portion we want the youth to sing and we will have someone lined up for the solo.  At YC they will put it all together.
